ABOUT THE ESTIN COMPANY

The Estin Company has been helping people buy and sell cemetery property since 1986. Our goal is to treat each customer like family by providing friendly, personal service and a stress free experience.

Phil Cox was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and graduated from Birmingham High School.

He worked in retail and as a manufacturer’s representative before finding a special satisfaction in cemetery property resales. He worked for one of the oldest brokers in Southern California. When the owner sold his company, he encouraged Phil to start his own firm.

In addition to being knowledgeable and professional, Phil is able to put families at ease during difficult times.

Sue Estin spent more than 10 years working in the interment office at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.

Her husband, a broker who had worked with Phil, encouraged his wife and former co-worker to launch a new venture. Sue’s warm personality and attention to detail make her a top-notch broker.

Mel Estin, Sue's husband, has been a licensed cemetery broker since 1968. Now retired, he remains a valuable source of information and advice for the Estin Company staff.

Cristi Thatcher started working at the Estin Company while attending college at California State University, Northridge. Her on-the-job experience and grasp of the business allowed her to earn her license quickly and start helping customers.
